Tesla’s Future – (Wall Street Journal)
After its first autopilot crash, The Tesla Motor Company has been seeing some rough times. Several solar company failures have led to the CEO of Solar City, newly acquired by Tesla, doubts about the space. Tesla’s goal of a million vehicles a year by 2020, and their rough time with missed installation targets, has made the once clear path in the renewable energy market much more bleak and cloudy than it was prior. However, the US governments push for renewable energy is definitely encouraging the companies and only time will tell if they will get past these slightly darker times intact or not.
Verizon Data Plans – (Engadget)
Tech communities have been raging on Verizon for its “new” plans that promise features that are in fact, quite outdated. Features including safety mode, data overages, and more are all new features it’s rolling out this year, even though other companies like Sprint and T–Mobile have been doing them for years.
Pokémon Robbers – (ABC)
A recent string or robberies just recently took place in Missouri, reportedly, with the help of the new phone game, Pokémon GO, which has been flying off the digital shelves for days now. The robbers used the app to find people wandering around in the streets, looking for Pokémon via the augmented reality presented in the app.
