As I mentioned in yesterday’s Levengood Today, I'm happy to be announcing a second series on my site called "Cam Reacts". It will focus on one specific topic in the news, like new movies, headlines, presidential speeches, etc. and will include details of the article, a transcript of my reaction, as well as, my thoughts on the subject. I've thrown around this idea for several weeks now, but hadn’t put it into action. But, about 3 hours ago the thought reignited inside me, after seeing what I consider to be, a very cringe worthy, video. I think it will fulfill the “soul requirement” of this publication. To better represent the news, I’ve taken out my opinion and fluff from Levengood Today, and will, in a way, be putting it here. I’ll explain this more below.
As I said before, I essentially will be reacting to things, especially if it’s not covered in an editorial, Levengood Today, or any other of my articles, but would still like to talk about it. They will be about as long as the average article (700 – 1000 words), and will have a more lighthearted approach, with less focus on major issues or controversies. However, if I see something that doesn’t agree with me, I will bring some headliners up. However, my focus will be more on the lighthearted (and cringe worthy things) I see.
As for the official launch date of the series, it will be coming out much sooner than you probably expected, and by that I mean, by the end of the weekend! That's right, in just a few days; I will be launching "Cam Reacts”. How cool is that? Expect to see it out Monday, around the same time as Levengood Today.
As a side note, I'm sure you've, also, noticed that I've been much more active on social media lately, posting more in a week than I have in the past two months! I'm still trying to figure out the "social game", so please bear with me as I experiment with tweets and post for these first few months until I master the art form.
Anyway, thanks everyone for keeping it real and sticking with me. I definitely plan on making a lot of changes within the remainder of this year, so don't go away yet! Keep on the lookout for me in the future. Since I haven't started following anyone yet myself, any suggestions? As always, I’ll see you next time (which isn't very far off)!
